It is with profound condolences that the Clark-Williams Funeral Home family announce the passing of Pastor Kelvin Oliver Berryhill on Sunday, November 03, 2024. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
Kelvin was born on December 14, 1972 in Houston, MS to the late Jessie and Gloris Berryhill. Kelvin graduated from Eupora High School in 1991. On March 6, 1999 he married the love of his life, Tywana Berryhill. Kelvin and Tywana were married for 25 years. Together they have one son and one god-daughter.
At the age of 13, Reverend Berryhill accepted Christ as his personal savior. In 2011, he accepted his calling into ministry at Daniels Temple Church God in Calhoun City, MS. He worked in many capacities which included: assisting the Senior Pastor in conducting church teaching, achieving the church mission objectives, teaching Sunday school, praying for and visiting church members in need. In 2023, Reverend Berryhill became a member of Greater Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Gore Springs, MS. Kelvin served as a minister and was a part of the choir. In the same year, Kelvin later became the Pastor of New Providence M.B. Church in Water Valley, MS.
Kelvin was a proud truck driver for over 20 years. In Kelvin’s past time, he enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, singing, working around the house, telling jokes, and most importantly enjoying God’s Word, family, and friends.
Kelvin leaves to cherish his beloved memories to his wife, Tywana Berryhill of Calhoun City, MS; his son, Rokedrick (Josilyn) Mays of Oxford, MS; God-daughter, Kadaishia Harper of Vardaman, MS; his siblings: Wanda Robinson of Slates, Springs, MS; Jessie (Melissa) Berryhill of Calhoun City, MS; Lindsay Berryhill of Pascagoula, MS; and Leslie Berryhill of Slate Springs, MS; Father and Mother-in-Law: Henry and Dorothy Petty of Calhoun City, MS; one Sister-in-Law Vanessa (Shon) Culley of Calhoun City, MS; a special aunt, Sherley Strode of Gore Springs, MS; a special brother and sister, Viny (Chasity) Varnado of Kansas City, Oklahoma, and a host of sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Kelvin is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Gloris Berryhill and his nephew, Emariun Clayton.
