John Herring Obituary

It is with our most profound condolences that the Clark-Williams Funeral Home Family announces the passing of Mr. John Walter Herring of Charleston, Mississippi.

Mr. Herring, 69, died of cardiac arrest at University Hospital in Jackson on May 5, 2019. He was born on September 14, 1949. Mr. Herring was a truck driver and a graduate of Amanda Elzy High School.

Mr. Herring is survived by his wife, Lois Herring of Charleston; son, Frederick Simmons of Charleston; two sisters, Gladys M. Pruitt of Schlater, and Ruby Sanders of Drew; and two brothers, Charles E. Herring of Drew and Frank James Herring of Brandon.
