It is with our most profound condolences that the Clark-Williams Funeral Home Family announce the passing of our family member Deacon James Earl Willis of Gore Springs, Mississippi.
Deacon Willis, 66, passed away at UMMC--Grenada on September 7, 2020. He was born on July 23, 1954. Deacon Willis served as Superintendent of the Grenada Baptist District Association, Deacon at Greater Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, member of the 100 Black Men of Grenada and President of the Pleasant Grove Hunting Club. He was a licensed insurance agent and enjoyed playing golf and hunting. Mr. Willis' educational background includes Grenada High School and Delta State University.
Deacon Willis is survived by his wife, Madeline Willis of Gore Springs; daughter, Pamela Willis of Gore Springs; and son, James A. Willis of Seattle, WA.
